At a recent Jones Beach rally,
supporters in favor of the construction of Trump's catering hall touted
its benefits which included job creation and increase state revenues. In
part, construction is being delayed because of NYS Department of
Environmental Conservation concerns with the kitchen being located in the

Equipment repairs and new hires
are among the many improvements recently implemented at Wantagh's Cedar Creek sewage plant.
This month's survey results show a significant positive shift in our
perception since April of 2006 when this question was last presented.

Aqua New York, the company which
provides water to the residents of Wantagh and Seaford, is proposing to
build a 158’ water tower on DeMott Avenue in Wantagh, just west of the
Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway. Numerous residents and community groups
have expressed their aversion to the tower, and this survey result echoes

The Metropolitan Transportation
Authority (MTA) plans to cut 25 of its 48 Long Island Bus routes in Nassau
County, including the N73 and N74, which provide corridor service along
Jerusalem Avenue in Hicksville and Wantagh Avenue in North Wantagh and
Wantagh. The N73 and N74 also provide branch services along Hempstead
